On Tuesday October 24 rector prof. dr. Herman Van Goethem will officially open Kekulé cycle XX: “Our World in Transition".
Prof. dr. ir. Peter Tom Jones will commence this session by delving into the potential for responsible mining and refining practices in Europe.
Dr. Filip Delalieux will then carry the discussion forward, focusing on responsible sourcing of minerals, particularly in the context of urban mining.
Concluding the evening, Ir. Christophe Couesnon will provide valuable insights into Solvay's market vision and the crucial aspects of metal supply and demand.
