The 10th EuChemS Chemistry Congress in 2026 will take place in Antwerp, Belgium. The event will be organised by the Royal Flemish Chemical Society (KVCV), following the 2024 ECC9, to be held in Dublin next year.
The European Chemistry Congress (ECC) is a major, biannual chemistry conference, where Chemists from all parts of Europe and beyond come together to present and discuss the latest achievements in cutting edge chemical sciences. The EuChemS Executive Board has chosen the offer of the KVCV for the organisation of the 10th edition of this prestigious event in the Flemish city of Antwerp.

We kindly invite you to our 1st Virtual Workshop on Single Atom Catalysis taking place on Thursday, 31st August 2023.
Single atom catalysis is an actual, promising and rapidly growing field in catalysis with many possible applications. Given the potential of these catalysts in synthesis, sustainable transformations and heterogeneous catalysis in general, we feel the need to organize a focused virtual meeting on this exciting area, highlighting the various aspects of single atom catalysis (catalyst synthesis and characterization, application, theoretical modelling).

Op zondag 21 mei 2023 werd Tijl Vanneste (Spes Nostra Instituut Kuurne) tijdens de proclamatie van de Vlaamse Olympiades voor Natuurwetenschappen (VONW) uitgeroepen tot winnaar van de 40ste Vlaamse Chemie Olympiade. De laureaat ontving namens de KVCV een prachtig kristal.
