Lead halide perovskites (LHP) represent a emerging class of semiconductor materials with exceptional electronic and optical properties, paving the way for groundbreaking optoelectronic applications. The evolution of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) since their inception in the 1960s has been transformative, revolutionizing modern lighting and display technology. LEDs offer efficient, energy-saving, and durable lighting solutions, and their continued development has been crucial in advancing these technologies. The tunable properties of perovskites, including composition and size, have been harnessed to create bright and efficient LEDs. The research presented in this PhD thesis marks excellent progress in the realm of lead halide perovskite materials for LED applications. The operational stability of PeLEDs has been significantly enhanced through the synthesis of quasi-2D ACI perovskites and the surface passivation of nanocrystalline materials, achieved via same amino-rich cation engineering. This paper shares valuable insights derived from advanced structural and optical studies, underscoring the immense potential of perovskites as a foundation for future stable LED technologies. The research outcomes contribute to the growing body of knowledge that propels the development of perovskite-based LEDs toward enhanced performance and stability. All Dates
