As is tradition, the Belgian Proteomics Association (BePA) organizes the BePA Proteomics Summer School during the last week of August.

Over the course of five days, participants are immersed in the complete LC-MS proteomics workflow under the guidance of Belgian proteomics experts. The program covers all key aspects of a proteomics study, including experimental design, sample preparation, acquisition strategies, data analysis, statistical analysis, and biological interpretation.

Upon completing the course, participants will have the knowledge and confidence to initiate a proteomics project, effectively interact with proteomics service laboratories, and independently interpret their proteomics data.

This course is a must for researchers who are planning to incorporate proteomics into their research projects.

The BePA Proteomics Summer School 2026 will take place at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Ghent (Campus Heymans, Building B, Room -1.11)  from 24 to 28 August 2026.
