Cleaning or decontamination of surfaces is a challenge in many applications and across industries. Although the specifics of the contaminants and the approach to cleaning may look different, much of the underlying chemistry is actually very similar, and insights in mechanisms can often be reapplied. We have invited speakers from the worlds of medicine, micro-electronics, food, cleaning and consumer good industry to discuss the challenges and solutions concerning cleaning and decontamination in their respective fields.
