Introduction to Toxicology and Ecotoxicology as the Scientific Basis for the Management of Chemical Risk

In line with its mission to foster chemical hazard and risk assessment practices, the Belgian Society for Toxicology and Ecotoxicology (BelTox) aims to support everyone who seeks to better understand the generation and interpretation of scientific information on the adverse impact of chemicals on human and environmental health.

Therefore, Beltox organizes on 27 October 2022 the one-day seminar “Introduction to Toxicology and Ecotoxicology as the Scientific Basis for the Management of Chemical Risk”.

This seminar addresses an audience without prior knowledge in (eco)toxicology but in need of a better understanding of chemical safety assessment and management in view of their professional activities. As such, the objective of this seminar is not trying to build experts in chemical risk assessment in a one-day crash course, but to touch upon and explain the basics.
