Many voices, one science: Global Women’s Breakfast 2026

This online event will explore how women across the continent contribute to advancing ethical, responsible, and socially conscious chemistry. It will specifically focus on the theme “Shaping responsible chemistry: The strategic role of women in Europe”. 

Women in chemistry have long contributed to stronger communication, closer collaboration, and the exchange of knowledge across scientific disciplines. These qualities – expressed through interdisciplinary cooperation, supportive professional networks, and the connection of scientific work with societal needs – reflect the spirit of the Global Women’s Breakfast, which focuses on strengthening the chemistry community through meaningful connections.

Capturing the essence of IUPAC GWB 2026 – Many Voices, One Science, the webinar reflects the Guiding Principles of Responsible Chemistry. It focuses particularly on two areas crucial to EuChemS: Communication & Collaboration and Convergence Across Disciplines. These themes also highlight Europe’s important role in advancing responsible chemistry on a global scale.
